Ha! That boiler room is ship shape and ready for inspection, Megan, and safety equipment is never “extraneous.” It’s good to have friends who know your quirks so well they can tease you on more than one in the same sentence!

I especially love the Huck Finn photo. The extra precautionary life jackets really crack me up too. It’s not like the tide or a tsunami wave could carry them away. I’ll be home to inspect your boiler room for other unnecessary safety items and more extraneous junk soon.

I completely relate! I have had several occasions in the last couple years where my kids have both been at camp, etc. I eagerly planned a to-do list a mile long and anticipated the peace and quiet, only to not accomplish much of anything on the list. I seem to get more done on jam-packed busy days than when I have a long stretch of unscheduled time. Go figure.
By the way, I watched the trailer of your new book and am now REALLY looking forward to it!
